The Chinese company continues to sweep away its policy of launching powerful smartphones at a reduced price, a strategy that has allowed it to sell 100,000 units of the Xiaomi Redmi Note in just over half an hour.
This result is impressive, even though it fails to match the record of 100,000 units in four minutes that the Xiaomi Hongmi recorded in November 2013.
Its features include the 5.5-inch screen with HD 720p resolution, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, expandable via microSD, 13 MP rear camera, 3,200 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 as the operating system.
Its price is around 160 dollars to change.
