The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp is already testing the new functionality that will allow its users to establish voice calls or VoIP calls between their contacts. This option, still in beta, will be introduced in version 2.11.241 and could arrive in the coming weeks on the Google Play application store.
The company, now in the hands of Facebook, announced during the last edition of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that the “app”, which has more than 500 million users worldwide, would receive this function before summer. At the moment, this version is only available for download on the official WhatsApp website, although it may contain errors and bugs.
Despite everything, the function is not yet available or active, but the service already allows you to find calls to a contact in the drop-down for each contact.
