A few days ago Bas Bosschert, a Dutch computer engineer, reported a security flaw in WhatsApp for Android: any application could easily access our conversation history with only having permissions to access the secondary storage or SD of our device, which It is where WhatsApp saves the history.
Today WhatsApp has come out in defense of its application for Android, saying basically with a correct use of the device and installing only applications from Google Play or trusted sites there would be no risk to our data, that this “security problem” has been exaggerated.
