LG Electronics introduced its software development kit to help create new applications for LG Smart + TVs, with greater ease and efficiency. The new accompanying website (http://developer.lge.com/webOSTV) will provide all the information you need to create high-quality webOS applications for TV App.

LG Electronics’ SDK simplifies the process for developers by writing TV-compatible applications with the company’s smart technology. With LG Smart TV + emulator, developers will be able to create a virtual television webOS experience on a PC, developers will be able to create a virtual television webOS experience on a PC.

The SDK has a developer-friendly user interface and works with standard web technologies, including HTML5, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript.

The new website also contains documents related to this technology, development tips, application examples, design guides, frequently asked questions and a developer forum. The application programming interface (API) will help developers start creations, almost immediately, and without a lengthy orientation process. The explanations are clear and step-by-step directions are provided for beginners in webOS.
