Palindrome is a word that comes from the Greek palin dromein (to go back again), normally applied to phrases or numbers that can be read equally forwards as backwards. Based on this concept, a French graphic designer made SYMMETRY, a short film that can be played in both directions.
The result is impressive. Yann Pineill has managed to make a visual work capable of leaving you with your mouth open. In addition to the aesthetics of the short, he has taken care of each shot so that it can be seen “in reverse” without having the feeling that we are rewinding. To achieve this, a lot of advance planning is required.
