With the Surface Pro 3 Microsoft does not hide its intention to have created “the tablet that will replace the laptop” once and for all. Its screen has grown from 10 inches to 12 inches with a 3: 2 ratio, but without increasing its weight, which remained at 800 grams.
Inside it is an Intel Core i7 processor, with a new super quiet ventilation system around the entire case. This processor ensures optimal performance of Windows 8.1 Pro, an operating system installed at the factory and which will have 4 or 8 GB of RAM.
It has Wi-Fi, stereo speakers, USB 3 port, microSD slot and a battery that promises up to 9 hours of autonomy. The Surface Pro 3 also has the “kickstand”, an integrated accessory that allows the tablet to be placed at different angles on a table.
