With the slogan “We Innovate or We Err”, the Tenth National Free Software Congress will arrive in Nueva Esparta state between May 30 and 31, which will be held at the Ramón Vásquez Brito de Porlamar House of Culture, Mariño municipality. This itinerant meeting, promoted by the GNU Project of Venezuela, began in Caracas on April 4 and will tour 15 states of the country.
This was reported by Octavio Rossell, National Director of the event, who explained that activities and conferences will be held in which national and international experts in the use of GNU / Linux, Free Software and Free Technologies, will share with the participants the knowledge they possess in these areas.
Rossell commented that this year he will be innovating with demonstrations of Free Hardware in Robotics, and Technical Support for the Canaimitas. “This anniversary will be wonderful: we will have many novelties, among which is the Socio-Productive Fair where concrete proposals are shown to make free technologies with a Venezuelan flavor,” said the director of the Congress.
