Venezuela and China signed 38 bilateral cooperation agreements between the two nations, within the framework of the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping in an act from the Military Circle of Caracas. The agreements signed are related to the exploitation of oil blocks; complementary projects between the two countries; agricultural exchange and cooperation, promotion of investment in industrial and technological matters as well as the deepening of exchange and cooperation in cultural and social material.
The agreements include the creation of a joint venture for the production of agrochemicals as well as a new remote sensing satellite, which will join the Simón Bolívar and Miranda satellites, also created within the framework of Venezuela-China cooperation. All the agreements will be supervised by a mixed commission made up of both countries from August 18.
