In Official Gazette 40,480, dated August 21, the members of the Public Offering Commission were officially appointed in charge of managing the procedure for the allocation of frequency blocks in the radioelectric spectrum, intended for the implementation of networks and services of advanced mobile communications, known as wireless broadband, through fourth generation (4G) technologies
As indicated in article 79 of the Organic Telecommunications Law (LOTEL), the members of the Commission are made up of two members of the governing body, in this case, the Ministry of Popular Power for Communication and Information; as well as three officials appointed by the Board of Directors of Conatel.
