A few days ago, Robin Williams passed away and the messages of grief multiplied on Twitter. Unfortunately with this, some took the opportunity to troll their daughter Zelda Williams by sending her alleged images of her father hanged or in the morgue. This caused the actor’s daughter to leave social networks, but not before receiving a message from Twitter in which exemplary measures were promised to handle situations like this.
Today Twitter announced a new section on its support page in which it says that images or videos of the deceased may be removed at the request of their relatives.
The social network assured that it will review all requests although there will be some cases that it could not attend, especially those in which the image is newsworthy.
Via Twitter you can delete images and videos of deceased people, at the request of their relatives – FayerWayer.
