During the last nights drone flights were sighted over the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower and the headquarters of the United States embassy in Paris. After a thorough police investigation, three Al-Jazeera journalists were identified as responsible. Today, they were arrested and are in police custody pending the investigation.
According to a judicial source has confirmed to the AFP agency, one of the journalists was piloting the drone, another was in charge of the recording, and the third was only observing. The flights were made between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The drones flew over heights between 100 and 300 meters between areas of great tourist interest, monuments and other areas. The police took almost two days to identify the journalists.
