The aerospace manufacturer has just released the first renderings of the CST-100, the luxurious capsule in which the first space tourists will travel.
At just 4.5 meters in diameter, the CST-100 has the capacity to comfortably accommodate seven passengers on their journey to a six-month stay on the International Space Station. Interiors are Boeing’s specialty. Not surprisingly, his greatest experience is in the design and manufacture of commercial aircraft.
It is still too early to book a flight on CST-100. The first trips of this commercial space capsule are not planned until 2017, and will have a price, never better said, astronomical.
via This will be the Boeing space capsule for orbital tourism.
