The minimum requirements to become part of the specification are: 3840 × 2160 pixel resolution and 16: 9 aspect ratio, 8-bit minimum color depth and Rec. 709 color space, ability to process a video signal in 4K and up to 60Hz (without conversions), have an HDMI 2.0 connection with HDCP 2.2 and stereo sound.
