Paper is the push Facebook needed on mobile devices. The first thing that stands out about Paper is its design. You don’t see elements such as navigation bars, refresh button, or the like. At the top is a prominent story, which occupies half the screen, in which the accompanying photo takes center stage.
In the other half of the screen, right at the bottom, more stories appear. To navigate, just scroll through them. This is one of the great features of Paper: navigation is completely gestural.
You scroll to the sides to see other updates, you drag up the updates you want to expand, even to open a link the same drag and drop process is followed. Another detail: if you are reading an update that includes a photo larger than the screen of your phone, to see the sides you have to tilt the mobile phone sideways.
via Paper, this is how Facebook should have been on mobile from the beginning.
