The usual image we have of the Himalayas is almost always associated with the great summit of Everest, mountaineers, snow and tragedies. But this mountain range stretches across Bhutan, Nepal, China and India and is home to 10 peaks of more than 8,000 meters.
Canyons, impossible bridges, small towns on the slopes of this mountain range, the source of some of the largest rivers in Asia, everything is in view thanks to the flight and the recording made by a helicopter at 6,000 meters of altitude. More would be impossible because it could not fly safely.
The Himalayas from 20,000 ft. from Teton Gravity Research on Vimeo.
You can enjoy the recording in all the splendor that video with UltraHD quality leaves us. It is the work of Teton Gravity Research, which tests a professional stabilizer system for this type of recording with this challenge.
