When it seemed that Blackberry had abandoned the experiments and was sticking to its enterprise market to recover, it goes and introduces the Blackberry Passport. This is a decidedly strange looking phablet for these times. Does anyone want a giant, almost quadrangular smartphone in their pocket?
Blackberry, sure, will have carried out all kinds of studies that show that the square format of the Passport is exactly what the business public demands. Hopefully we are wrong.
BlackBerry Passport has a 4.5-inch screen and 1440 × 1440 pixel resolution under which we find a qwerty keyboard. Its size is around that of the Galaxy Note, but wider. The terminal is accompanied by two other more conventional models: the Z3, and a smartphone with a qwerty keyboard similar to the Q10. Its launch is scheduled for September.
via This hideous new phablet confirms how lost BlackBerry is.
