The new wireless network standard developed by Samsung uses 60 GHz waves to transmit data instead of 2.4 or 5 GHz. This means a data transmission speed of up to 4.5 Gbps (Gigabits per second) . With this speed, it would be possible to send a 1 GB video file via WiFi in just three seconds.
As explained in their blog, this new WiFi technology standard eliminates interference from the transmission channel by equating the theoretical and actual speeds of sending data, regardless of the number of devices connected to the network.
via Samsung is working on a new WiFi standard that multiplies the current speed by 5 | Technology | THE WORLD.
