A group of Columbia University students have achieved the impossible: running iOS apps on Android natively by making these apps believe that they are running on Apple’s XNU kernel instead of Android’s Linux kernel.
These researchers have managed to copy the libraries and frameworks that iOS applications need to convince the code of those apps that it is running on Apple’s XNU kernel instead of Android’s Linux kernel, resulting in them behaving like native applications. on Android although quite unstable.
