They launch Hound the wizard who really understands you

SoundHound, a company specialized in solutions that try to facilitate user interactions with different connected devices in the same way that they interact with each other, has just publicly launched Hound, its virtual assistant, available for Android and iOS devices in the United States.

In this sense, many of the virtual assistants usually first transcribe the content of the requests by voice to text and then process said text through an engine to offer the answers. The case of Hound is different, as it has a back-end service, which has taken years of development, which allows to directly understand the meaning of what users are asking for by voice, using natural language and taking into account both the context and the the details of the requests.

Hound will allow users to make requests from the simplest to the most complex, being able to deal with all of them in a solvent and precise way. There is still a long way to go to be able to overcome assistants such as Siri or Google Now in a series of areas where they are offering accurate responses to requests. Of course, Hound will be faster when it comes to recognizing and processing queries, which will make the main difference.
