The Minister of Land Transport and Public Works, Haiman El Troudi, reported that today three new trains are being added to the offer of the commercial service of trains that lead to the Valles del Tuy.
“It is important to explain that this incorporation of trains will be of direct benefit to users since the waiting time between train and train is reduced to four or five minutes,” he said.
He also reiterated that until today there is a demand from users of 140,000 people a day to mobilize and had the capacity to serve 120,000. “With the incorporation of these new trains we increase the service offer to a little more than 150,000 users per day that we can mobilize”.
He assured that they are trains of the most modern technology, with the capacity to move about 1,000 people between stops and seats, and the circulation of 100 kilometers per hour. They also have modern closed circuit television systems for the safety of passengers and preferential areas for the care of people with some type of disability, pregnant women and the elderly.
