The Spanish Internet Safety Center for Minors Protégeles.com, in collaboration with the main telecommunications operators (Telefónica, Vodafone, Orange and Yoigo) have developed the new ‘anti-harassment’ application. The Protégete «app» has been created so that children and adolescents can report cyberbullying situations through their smartphones.
The app allows children and adolescents to make an anonymous report about illegal or harmful content they have found on the Internet, ask for help in situations of online bullying (cyberbullying), sexual harassment of minors (grooming), identity theft in Social Networks and other conflictive situations in which they can be found.
It will also help them determine the level of basic knowledge they should have about safety and responsible use of the Internet and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
via They create an «app» so that young people can report cases of cyberbullying – ABC.es.
