Stack Overflow has revealed which were the most used programming languages in the world last year, after a survey in which 6,800 general developers, 1,900 mobile developers, 1,200 front-end developers and 12,000 with other IT profiles participated.
In total, 26,086 professionals from 157 countries took part in the study, who declared that the most popular language during the last year turned out to be Apple Swift, indicated by 77.6% of the participants, followed by C ++ 11, which arrived 75.6%.
On the other hand, Stack Overflow has also analyzed the developers that each country has per 1,000 inhabitants, a ranking led by Luxembourg with 39.8.
The second place is shared by Iceland and Sweden, since both have 35 developers per 1,000 inhabitants, while the fourth position is for Israel, which remains with 33.4.
