Microsoft has spent the last few days revealing more and more details about its new version of Windows, from the compression techniques they are working on so that Windows 10 takes up less disk space than ever before, to the good and surprising news that even copies Windows hackers will get the update to the next version for free.
The company has now released the minimum hardware requirements to run Windows 10. For starters, the 32-bit version will need a minimum of 16GB of hard drive space and 1GB of RAM, while the 64-bit requires 20GB. of disk space and 2GB of RAM, in addition to support for DirectX9. The minimum screen resolution required will be 800 × 600 pixels.
