In Brazil, not only will the World Cup be experienced in situ, but there will also be a sample of the “future of TV.” The Globo chain, in conjunction with Sony and government authorities, will mount screens in the Jardim Botanico sector of Rio de Janeiro to openly broadcast three games of the cup in 4K definition.
One of these matches will be the final on July 13 where Brazil is expected to be present; the other two will surely be from the local team as well. The screens will be 65 inches, and will allow you to see everything in great detail, from the spectators’ phone model to the tears of the players eliminated from the tournament.
