As a result of these technological pilots on the latest generation mobile network, the aim is to achieve greater coverage, always in the most efficient and fast way and, on the other hand, to increase the average speed of users, an aspect that we have already been able to see remains notably below the maximum possible speed, an aspect that on the other hand they also want to enhance with the measures they have detailed and we explain below.
In relation to the average speed of users and based on the latest data that we were able to obtain last April, at the moment Movistar users only enjoy 44.3% of the speed that Telefónica Spain’s 4G network would allow reaching, one of the key points in this Telefónica project with respect to its next-generation mobile network.
