It is an interesting application that looks like a “reloaded Power Point”. Microsoft’s idea with Sway is that users can create web pages and multimedia documents in the simplest way possible, with a native and easy-to-use application.
The introductory video gives us many examples of how Sway is used, and it really looks promising.
Sway is not yet finalized and Microsoft for now only offers the possibility to request an invite on Sway.com to test Sway and give some feedback to the company, on what we like, what we don’t, and what we would like to see in the application.
Sway will allow you to create these websites simply using text and images, offering different templates and formats to users and even allowing you to insert videos, tweets, Facebook posts or complete timelines, all with the greatest possible ease in order to be available to any type of user. All this, powered by Microsoft’s cloud platform, Azure. Let’s just imagine the possibilities that this tool could offer for remote presentations, or even for websites of many types of commerce.
