The main executives of Sony Pictures Entertainment today gave the truth to the information leaked by the hackers who claim to be the cyberattack suffered by the Hollywood studio on November 24.
In a statement sent to Efe, the company’s co-presidents, Michael Lynton and Amy Pascal acknowledge that a “large amount of confidential data has been stolen” by hackers, including “personal information and business documents.”
Lynton and Pascal admitted their concern about how the privacy and security of the company’s more than 3,800 workers had been violated and offered the services of the AllClear ID company so that employees can ensure that their identity is protected.
