“Smart Connectivity” will be directed in the region by Vicky Ponce, who from now on will have the mission of defining the strategy and business plan for positioning the area and the products in front of all its internal and external audiences, with the aim of ensuring profitable growth; identify and develop potential businesses; negotiate trade agreements and build relationships with retailers in the consumer electronics industry in the region. Likewise, be the communication link with the Corporate and interest groups in China and provide advice to the Research and Development areas of the company, suggesting improvements in the design and performance of products according to the needs of consumers and distributors of Latin America, informed Christian Gatti, General Manager and Vice President for Latin America and the Pacific of ALCATEL ONETOUCH.

Some of them were presented during the international events Consumer Electronic Show and Mobile World Congress, held last January and February, respectively, among which the following stand out: ONETOUCH Pop 7 and Pop 8, which are designed to be connected tablets and offer a great variety of colorful and useful accessories for consumers, and the ONE TOUCH PIXI 7, a 7-inch WiFi tablet, all at a smart price.
