A month ago we learned that Samsung would launch the Samsung Z, a new mobile with the Tizen operating system that would coexist with Android and would be focused on the Russian market.
The Korean company was expected to take the first step yesterday, during the Tizen developer conference in Russia, however that did not happen and the release date is still up in the air.
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Samsung limited itself to saying that the phone will arrive in Russia when they can offer a good number of applications to users.
This is a kind of deja vu since something similar happened at the beginning of the year in Japan, when NTT DoCoMo canceled the launch of another mobile with Tizen arguing that the smartphone market was not growing fast enough to debut a new operating system.
via Samsung delays the launch of its smartphone with Tizen – Wayerless.
