Parrot has finally included the long-awaited camera with the capacity to record Full HD 1080p movies (the previous one was at 720p) along with a 14 MP sensor to take pictures. In addition, the camera integrates a very powerful electronic stabilizer and includes 8 GB of memory to store movies or photos. On the other hand, it includes other accessories such as a GPS and a system that allows you to automatically return to the take-off point.
The drone is connected via Wi-Fi and can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet with iOS or Android, in which case the range is about 300 meters, but Parrot is going to launch together with it an accessory that includes a base for the phone or the tablet, with control knobs on the sides in the style of radio control helicopters together with a large antenna that allows a range of up to 2 kilometers. On the other hand, the flight autonomy is only 12 minutes with a full battery charge. The new quadcopter is expected to be available in the last quarter of the year and a price has not been announced yet, but it is believed to be in the $ 300- $ 400 range.
