After Apple thoroughly redesigned iOS 7, a similar change was expected in OS X. That change is called OS X 10.10 or Yosemite, and it is the biggest cosmetic makeover in recent history of the Mac operating system. Yosemite It also comes loaded with news and closer to iOS than ever.
The classic Aqua interface disappears to take on an identical look to iOS. The transparencies in the menus, something that Apple calls Materials, or the dock icons completely recall the design that we can see on large iOS screens.
A curious detail is that the entire interface now has a dark variant that will delight lovers of black. Otherwise, the entire interface completely dispenses with rounded edges and metallic gradients. The cleaning of the windows has, as a final touch, the change of font for the same one that iOS 7 uses.
And there is still more in: OS X Yosemite: this is the new face of the Mac.
