10% of users of communication devices have regretted having shared any information, message, video or photo over the Internet or other technology, and 5% have ever had problems due to their own content transmitted by others on the network. This is reflected in the latest survey of the Center for Sociological Research (CIS) published this Tuesday with data from March, which includes several questions about the impact of information technologies.
Around 65% think that children begin to use new technologies -PC, mobile phones or internet access- in the age group between 6 and 11 years old. For 80% of those surveyed, the mobile phone is very or quite necessary, and this importance is reduced to 62% in the case of the PC.
Both the use of instant messaging and WhatsApp or email are at similar levels of relevance for users, according to the data; that is, around 55%, in both cases, compared to 26% for social networks such as Facebook or Twitter.
