The beginning of one technological age usually means the end or lag of another. For example, to enable a shift to a modern technology increasingly used by small and medium-sized businesses, Microsoft will end support for Windows Server 2003 on July 14, 2015.
This means that security patches and updates will no longer be available after that period, resulting in a less stable and less secure technology infrastructure if no action is taken.
However, the good news is that there are a variety of easy-to-integrate options available to people ready to upgrade, including Microsoft Azure, the company’s cloud platform. Cloud solutions like Azure are designed to enable small and medium-sized businesses to scale up or down their capabilities to take advantage of opportunities or reduce costs, all based on their needs.
