The 64-bit Tegra K1 was just unveiled at a high-performance processor conference.
The chipset is made up of two cores, and each one has a 7-way superscalar microarchitecture 7 micro-operations can be executed per clock cycle at 2.5GHz, which compared to its predecessor only had 3-way – running at 2.3GHz and being of four cores.
In another of its innovations, it implements a process called Dynamic Code Optimization, which optimizes processing depending on the software routine using a dedicated 128MB storage – such as a cache memory to give greater response speed to data processing.
via NVIDIA introduces the first 64-bit processor for Android – Wayerless.
