The law, which consists of four chapters with 20 articles, defines Telehealth as medical assistance services that are carried out remotely with the help of information technologies and telecommunications in the prevention, diagnosis, rehabilitation and treatment of diseases.
The president of the Parliament’s Standing Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation, Guido Ochoa, said that this parliamentary body carried out work with all the deputies to promote this instrument on the equality and social inclusion of citizens in this matter.
«This is a law that speaks of the equality of all Venezuelans in the most remote corners of our country. In health it equals us throughout Venezuela. This law is for all Venezuelans, “he added.
via the National Assembly of Venezuela passed the Telehealth Law.
