The new Droid Turbo is not limited by hardware, much less battery. Unlike the Galaxy S5 Plus (2.5 GHz), this one includes an octa-core Snapdragon 805 processor running at 2.7 GHz.
A 3,900 mAh battery will allow it to work for up to two days, also thanks to the smart and exclusive software of the phone. To compare the battery life, just turn to its closest competitor, the Galaxy Note 4, which carries a 3,220 mAh battery, that is, it is the best in this regard.
As if that were not enough, the charging speed is quite remarkable, as it would have the ability to get up to 8 hours of battery life when connecting it for only 15 minutes, presumably by using a special turbo charger that is sold with the phone.
As a summary, the specifications that have been confirmed with the launch are listed:
- Quad HD display (2560 × 1440)
- Snapdragon 805 processor (octa-core) at 2.7 GHz
- 3 GB RAM
- 21 MP rear camera (capable of 4K video recording)
- 3,900 mAh battery (two days life)
via Motorola officially announces the Droid Turbo and its long-lasting battery – Wayerless.
