Microsoft’s China division has published, apparently by mistake, a message on its Weibo social network account advising its followers that “Windows 9 is coming soon” and asking their opinion on the return of the start menu.
The message, which has already been deleted, was also accompanied by the Windows 9 logo.
In an entry with the text “The latest Windows 9 OS is coming soon, do you think the start button on the lower left side will come back?” the image that illustrates this post was included. The image was captured before its almost immediate erasure by the guys from Cnbeta, according to The Verge. It is rumored that this new version is loaded with new features, even that it could be free, but the most significant thing would be the elimination of the “charms” sidebar, something that has not caught on among users.
via Microsoft’s division in China loses the name Windows 9 ahead of time.
