Microsoft and Apple release patches to end FRE …

Apple first and now Microsoft have released an update to their operating systems to address the vulnerability known as FREAK that was discovered a few days ago.

FREAK is a security hole that allows hackers to steal and spy on data from SSL and TTL encrypted connections so they can intercept data such as passwords and users’ credit card numbers.

Microsoft has released security patches for Windows, Internet Explorer, Office, SharePoint Server, and Exchange Server.

Apple has also released a security update for OS X that has been added to the release of version iOS 8.2 and a new update for the Apple TV software.
