Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, will be in Panama, within the framework of the Summit of the Americas, between April 10 and 11.
Zuckerberg will meet with the President of the Republic of Panama, Juan Carlos Varela, to launch the Internet Access initiative.
The 30-year-old businessman promotes the project called Internet.org that aims to bring the internet to the two-thirds of people in the world who are not connected.
Internet.org is a technological platform that encourages development in low-income sectors, through mobile phones.
In January 2015, this initiative reached Latin America. Colombia was the first country to receive it.
via Mark Zuckerberg will come to Panama for the Summit.
