MacBook Air updates processor and lowers its price

April 29, 2014

MacBook Air 2014The latest generation of MacBook Air was based on making small speed changes but above all on giving an incredible battery performance, reaching the theoretical 12 hours of duration. With this update, what Apple does is cut the price a bit and update processors.

They now include the fourth generation of Intel Core “Haswell” processors. For example, it goes from a 1.3GHz Core i5 to the new 1.4GHz one. The 13-inch MacBook Air now costs € 1,029 (up from € 1,129 previously) with 128GB SSD memory. The 11-inch has the same capacity and processor but for € 929 (compared to the previous € 1,029). The rest of the specifications are maintained, such as 4 GB of RAM, Thunderbolt 2 port and two USB 3.0 ports. The only remarkable thing is the slight processor update and the reduction of 100 euros / dollars.
