LinkedIn indicates that Evernote’s card scanning service is fast, reliable, and globally available in seven supported languages. But at the same time, it also announces the disappearance of the CardMunch application on July 11, 2014, which it acquired in 2011. Users who use said application are given the option of transferring all their scanned cards to Evernote, receiving Evernote’s premium business card scanning service for two years free.
CardMunch data is also available in the LinkedIn Contacts section of LinkedIn.com from the desktop and in the LinkedIn Contacts app. Those users who do not want to migrate their data to Evernote will have the ability to download their data from CardMunch, including their images.
