Japanese app Line announced that it will pay users who choose to view video advertising that works on its platform. This instant messaging app already has more than 300 million users and dreams of ending the reign of WhatsApp, with 100 million more clients.
Precisely, the payment of these «Line coins» seeks the loyalty of its users and the arrival of new ones through this promotion. Payment for viewing the ads will be made through credit to purchase products such as games or stickers.
The update will begin to work in January 2014 and in the first instance it can only be downloaded by Android users belonging to Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
