LG G Watch R is the perfect circle of smartwatc …

The dimensions of the watch are a bit large 46.4 x 53.6 x 9.7 millimeters, but bulky watches seem to be in vogue, and the G Watch R isn’t particularly heavy, so many won’t find this a problem. One of the few weaknesses of the LG G Watch R is that it does not integrate its own GPS, but it can connect to that of the smartphone with which it is paired. LG explains this absence by the excessive battery consumption of the GPS. The battery, by the way, is a 410mAh that lasts, according to the manufacturer, a day and a half.

A low-power system makes the screen go into a low-power mode if we don’t use it within 5 seconds. In this mode, all you can see on the screen are two white hands to mark the time. Charging is not wireless, like other Android Wear watches, the G Watch R will have a dock to charge.

Like the rest of Android Wear devices, the G Watch R integrates a microphone for voice commands via Google Now, turn-by-turn navigation, and all kinds of built-in notifications. The different dial designs that come standard include some useful information, such as various time zones, elevation or pedometer.

The LG G Watch R arrives in October for 299 euros.
