Apple’s streaming radio service, iTunes Radio, may be only six months old, but due to its dominant position in the US mobile device market, it has already ranked third in Americans’ preferences for listening to music by Internet.
This was confirmed by a recent survey conducted by Edison Research of 2,023 people over 12 years of age, which determined that 8% of Americans have used iTunes Radio in the last month, surpassing the third place that was in the hands of Spotify, which it is now used by 6% of respondents.
