With the development of new technologies, the online trade or sale of products and services has broken growth records in Venezuela and the world. However, what for many is a quick and convenient option, for others it has been synonymous with scam and fraud.
It is for this reason that the Permanent Commission of Administration and Services of the National Assembly recently approved, unanimously, to elaborate a preliminary draft of the Law of Regulation of Electronic Commerce in the country, with the purpose of protecting users and the national economy from possible scams and fraud through the marketing of goods and services over the internet.
