The Minister of Popular Power for Science, Technology and Innovation, Manuel Fernández, reported this Thursday that the Infogvernment Law will come into effect on Sunday, August 17, which aims to establish the principles, bases and guidelines that govern the use of the Information Technologies in the Public Power and Popular Power.
During a live contact of the Venezuelan state television channel, the official recalled that the legal instrument was drawn up by the Executive and Legislative Power, “but above all it has the contribution of the Popular Power.” “It is the expression of that new country that we are building,” added Fernández.
He explained that this Law seeks to complement a set of telecommunications regulations that make life in the country and thus give a legal framework to the Electronic Government that aims to eliminate, simplify and automate procedures.
via Infogvernment Law will come into effect on August 17.
