Huawei P8 is official. The manufacturer announced its new high-end mobile during an event in London, which has dropped the Ascend name.
The P8 has a 5.2-inch IPS screen and a metal body that is just 6.4mm thick. Inside we find a Kirin 930 chip with an eight-core processor running at 2GHz, 3GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and a 2680 mAh battery.
In the multimedia part we find a 13 megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilizer and f / 2.0 aperture. Perhaps the most important thing about this camera is the RGBW sensor that offers better performance in low light conditions.
The front camera is 8 megapixels and Huawei has included an ultra-fast face recognition system that allows you to capture “the perfect selfie”.
The P8 has Dual Sim 4G LTE support and two antennas to improve reception and avoid missed calls.
Huawei P8 Max
Because 5.2 inches is not enough, Huawei also announced a version with a 6.8-inch screen. The P8 Max is slightly thicker, 6.8 mm thick, but has a 4360 mAh battery that ensures a range of up to 2 days in “normal” use.
The Huawei P8 will be priced at about $ 530 and will be available in 30 countries, including Spain and Costa Rica from May. A month later it will be offered to the rest of the countries where Huawei has a presence.
Regarding the P8 Max, this version will be available in the same 30 countries but from June. Its price will be about 58o dollars for the 32GB version and 690 dollars for the 64GB version.
