Skype has announced through its official blog that it is once again offering free group video conferencing (that is, with more than two people) on its service. Until now, this type of videoconference was reserved for those who paid a premium plan, a plan that has also temporarily disappeared while Microsoft is thinking about another way to promote them.
At the moment this change is reflected in the Xbox, in Windows and in OS X, to jump to the rest of the platforms in the future. Officially the argument of Skype is wanting to connect more people, although something must have done Google’s competition with its completely free Hangouts.
via Group video conferencing is free again on Skype.
