Google has been fined in Italy one million euros for having collected images and private data with the StreetView cars that they recorded on the streets.
The fine announced Thursday refers only to vehicles that are not labeled clearly enough. The watchdog has also informed the Italian judicial authorities that Google accidentally captured fragments of electronic communications as part of its mapping investigation.
Google was also fined € 145,000 in Germany for intercepting emails.
