Google wants to put the soundtrack to your Christmas

December 20, 2014

With Christmas approaching, Google wants to be the one to put the music to the celebrations that will take place in the coming weeks and is thus giving away five compilations of Christmas music and is lowering the price of some of their albums.

For those users who like Pop music, the Mountain View company gives away Play: Pop Christmas, which includes songs by Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Leona Lewis or Destiny’s Child. For those more classic, Google has prepared three compilations of instrumental music called Play Classical: Christmas, Play Classical: New Year’s Concert and Play: Christmas Favorites.

The latest of Google’s albums is Play: Christmas Crooners, where users can find songs like It Came Upon the Midgnight Clear, by Frank Sinatra; Eddie Fisher’s Jingle Bells; or the remastering of Silent Night, by Marion Lanza.
